Pensacola Swing Dance Society offers West Coast Swing lessons and social dancing throughout the month. Our main weekly program is every Monday night at Ragon Hall, with classes beginning at 6 PM and social dancing afterward. Beginners are always welcome, and no partner is needed.

West Coast Swing is a fun, modern partner dance that can be danced to pop, blues, country, R&B, rock, and many other styles of music. It's known for its creativity, connection, and versatility.

When you arrive, let us know it's your first time and we'll point you in the right direction. You don't need a partner or any previous dance experience. Our classes rotate partners, so you'll meet and dance with different people throughout the lesson. Just come ready to learn and have fun.

Wear comfortable clothes that allow you to move easily. There's no dress code—just come ready to have fun!

Comfortable shoes with smooth soles work best. Avoid shoes with heavy tread or very sticky rubber soles, as they can make turning more difficult.

West Coast Swing can be enjoyed by a wide range of ages. On Monday nights, dancers ages 18–25 participate free through our Young Adult program. Dancers ages 12–17 may also participate free when a parent or guardian is present and participating. Our regular evening events are designed primarily for adults and young adults.
